Passion and Politics - Historical Romance (in progress) Lord Randall, the Tory orator, falls in love with London reformist Miss Isabella St. Vincent at first sight. However, when the outspoken Isabella challenges him to a political debate on a ballroom floor, he suspects the lovely lady may very well be mad. At the season's close, he returns to his ancestral pile in the slow-moving, idealistic little village of Hythewiche. C'mon in and make yourself comfortable in my small cyber home. While you’re here, read an excerpt from my novel Rakes and Radishes or watch the manga - style trailer I made for it. Excerpt

Praise for Rakes and Radishes

"I can’t tell you the last time I’ve read a historical romance I’ve enjoyed so much. The depth of characters, the complexity of the interpersonal relationships, the conflict for and between the hero and heroine are so anything but cliché." --Laurie Alice Eakes, author of Family Guardian, winner of the National Readers Choice Award for Best Regency

Blog I recently returned from a trip to Europe and made a travel diary of sorts on my blog. It includes my tangles with the Dutch alien police, the perils of traveling with small, chocolate–wired children, and my husband's love affair with our sexy French GPS system.

Ughh! Research! Good thing I’m the web mistress for Regency expert Nancy Mayer's Regency Researcher site. It’s an awesome site, full of great regency information. Take a look!

I am a mother to fabulous, brilliant, gorgeous children. When I am not writing, I am a part-time web developer/goddess. I drink Vouvray and listen to Brazilian Jazz, Wynton Marsalis, Astrud Gilberto, Bruce Hornsby, Ray Charles, Diana Krall, Willie Nelson, Ella Fitzgerald, and H. Johnson host of Jazz Classics. I can cook some mean Southern Butter Beans. I love my children, that guy I married, running, my iTouch, the sound of rain, and poems by Billy Collins. In fact, I love poetry in general, but don't write a word of it. I keep at least seven books by my bedside. I am reading all of them. I am blessed with awesome friends.

I've followed my crazy Viking husband through Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, England, and Scotland. You can read about my latest European escapades on my Blog. My mystery writer friend and I are writing a southern gothic mystery at our blog The Mojito Literary Society.
